IKEA St. Louis

IKEA St. Louis

When IKEA elected to open a store in St. Louis, Missouri, they selected a site in the heart of the city, but it required significant ground improvement. Subsurface Constructors installed 5,992 stone columns to improve the existing soil and delivered a maximum bearing pressure of between 1,500 – 4,000 pounds per square foot.
